Wayne Township Fire and Rescue Department was founded in _____ with the original
Fire Station located Netonsville. As the population increased with the growth of
the Township, a second station was built at ____ State Route 133. These two stations
continue to house the Department's growing fleet of equipment. At present
the first phase of new construction on the new Community Center and Firestation
is about to begin. The new building will be located adjacent to he Township
Hall. Wayne Township Fire and Rescue operates under the command of our Chief David Moulden. Chief Moulden has lead the department since December of 2003. Wayne Township Fire Department is proud to maintain an active presence in our community. Tours of the Fire Station are available upon request. |







In _____, Wayne Township Fire and Rescue instituted a paid Fire and EMS program. Currently,
the station is staffed by 3 Full time paid, 18 part-time personnel who
hold at least basic fire and EMT certifications. The station is manned by part
time personnel from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., six days a week. This program has
resulted in a greatly reduced response time to emergency calls, which provides
township residents with far improved Fire and EMS services. Second runs and evening
runs are manned by our 24 paid-on-call personnel. |
